Annabel is from Jamestown in the Mid North, where she grew up on a farm. This inspired her decision to study agriculture in order to further immerse herself in the sector.
Her current interests are geared toward livestock genetics and breeding, and she looks forward to expanding her knowledge as the degree progresses. Annabel values participation in internships and industry events as this allows her to consolidate knowledge.
Heading into her second year of university, Annabel’s current goal after graduation is to move to southern Western Australia to pursue a career in either livestock or broadacre. She appreciates the nature of both industries, and hopes that her future endeavours through tertiary study will clarify her decision.
Through her role as Second Year Representative, Annabel aims to bring an enthusiastic and open-minded perspective to achieve the best for AUASA. Her contribution of new ideas and constructive discussion is always appreciated.
