Eddie Lock

Eddie’s passion for agriculture began at a young age in the heart of the South east, growing up on the farm, surrounded by agriculture every day. His love for agriculture and passion to learn more about agricultural industries led him to study for a Bachelor of Agricultural Science in Adelaide. His passion for agriculture has led to him being involved in agricultural shows across South Australia including the Royal Adelaide Show, competing with his poultry and pigeons, and being involved in young judges and rural ambassador competitions as well as competing in the sheep and poultry sections during his schooling.

Eddie is motivated to have a career in agriculture, particularly based around livestock, poultry, and pasture seeds production. In his role as a first year representative, Eddie is committed to building strong connections with everybody in the first year cohort and allowing the cohort to take advantage of as many opportunities as possible in their first year of university.
