Jed Thiel

Jed has grown up in Waikerie in the Riverland and has a strong passion for agriculture, especially in the horticulture sector, driven through growing up on a citrus and avocado orchard.

Jed has developed a wide range of interest in agriculture with agronomy being his highest interest. He hopes to pursue a career in this sector before returning to work on family farms.

Being on the AUASA committee in 2025 he hopes to promote the agriculture industry to young students, helping them to grow their pathways into the agriculture world!
