From a Dohne merino stud in Tumby Bay on the Eyre Peninsula, Rory grew up surrounded by agriculture. Relocating to Strathalbyn, her passion for sheep never left her.
After graduating from school, she started studying a Bachelor of Animal Science before realising it wasn’t the right fit for her. She has now gained a passion for agronomy and soil sciences.
She is keen to broaden her knowledge of producing top-quality sheep and wool. She is determined to improve her agronomy and soils knowledge for the benefit of livestock.
By being a part of the AUASA committee, Rory looks forward to strengthening her networking and providing communication with students and industry members.
